Wolpereule (german) = Wolperowl (english)

You might know the Wolpertinger? It's a mythological hybrid animal allegedly inhabiting the alpine forests of Bavaria in Germany. Wolpertingers have the head of a rabbit, the body of a squirrel, the antlers of a deer and the wings of a pheasant.

The Wolperowl is a close cousin of the Wolpertinger. It has the body of an owl, the ears of a rabbit and the antlers of a deer. It was first seen in one of my design classes and occasionally shows up at my place.
